Friends

Two years ago I decided to gather those persons around me who have been my friends.  They are the ones who know me well  and love me anyway.  This has developed in to an amazing social support group.  ladies with various interest and talents.  Lovers and friends of God first. We are friends.
friends and friends of friends that have now become my friends and friends of my friends too.  That's a mouth full.
 Eudid (Hebrew) possibly misspelled, is derived from one word repeated twice. the Hebrew word for hand.
The clasping of another's hand has been a sign of good intent between persons for centuries. The terms "helping hand, giving, offering or lending a hand" are used to describe help or support.
The words friend, friends, and friendly are mentioned so many times in the scriptures that one may suppose it is important.  In scripture one can find what friendships look like, how they are formed, how to become a friend and the benefits of friendships. There is also a warning of  forming the wrong friendships.
We have as part of our inheritance the honor of being called the friends of God. In the next blog we will explore this special position as a friend of the most high, adding scriptural references and application for today.  Blessings staci
