The kingdom, the kingdom. What's with the kingdom. Ever notice how most fairy tales mention a kingdom? even if the story is about some member of the royal family it will mention the disposition of the king of the land." He was a generous and beloved king" or He was an evile king." As a child I loved fairy tales and now as a grandmother I fine I still like them.
It seems that in each story the happiness and prosperity of the people was a direct reflection of the king of the land. If he was a hard person who made life hard for his subjects the people were sad and poor. If he was a charitable man, had good communication with the people and encouraged them they would have a sense of pride. The people were happy to say they were of such and such kingdom.
In the natural kings and kingdoms have been very much the same. The people were happy even during times of war or famen because they had confidence that their good king would prevaile. They trusted him. They knew he was not living a life of eaze as their sons went of to war and their children went hungry. The lands belonged to the king. The Kings word was law. The king employed the doctors, the lawyers and the military. The King kept the people informed and was responsible to say how educated his subjects were. Guest that is why the people of France looked to the young king Louis and his queen marie to give them food duing the French revolution. Her famous words "let them eat cake" helped her to lose her head. An ineffective king with a spendthrift wife. Kings were suppose to be responsible for the people. Like a father with his children. Care, disaplne provision and protection. Most of the kings and kingdoms read about in our histroy books were considered greedy tyrants who used economic slavery to control the people. This was common of the kings and lords of the day. Only concerned with the welfare of them selves and their families and the keeping of their wealth.
Wars. usually fought over land and or the riches found on the land. It doesn't appear that the Roman form of goverment and expantion was ever again used as successfully as the Roman way.
living in 21 centry USA, I've only visited countries under the rule of a king. Few kings today have the power and authority of the kings of yesteryears.
What I've read in the scriptures tell me that God never intented that the Hebrews have an eartly king. He wanted to be their king. He never wanted them to be come a relegion nor did he desire that we would be come a relegion. No. we were alway to be earthly representives of his heavenly kingdom. All people we to be blessed through Abraham. But the people made themselves the object of the blessing instead of the conduit. Now that is a different lesson. Relationship VS Religion.
The criteria for king was given in advance because God knew that the people would forget how good they had it and want to have a human king like the surrounding peoples. So they were given a list of criterion to check off when selecting him. They were even told what they could expect one the king was in place. Taxes, drafted in to the army, your lands taken at the will of the king and your daughters and sons taken for servants. Still they wanted an earthly king to complain to and about. you can read the check off list in Deuteronomy 17:14-20.
Now all of this is to say that Jesus use parables to speak to the people. It was not meant to confuse
them, They lived in a kingdom which from a certain view looked like the kingdom that had always been. Yet, though it looked as if the kingdom was still intact, they had their religion, their celebrations and their occupations, it was yearly more and more Roman. The Romans could not understand a people with one god. They were unaccustomed to multi-gods and a king. Nor did the people seem to realize that their god was to be their king. Of course the Romans didn't care about the gods of the Hebrews. They could have as many or as few as desired but their king was to be Ceaser.
Next we will take a look at the teaching of Jesus. What did he say and how does it bring light on the kingdom of heaven.
This blog is the musing of a seasoned saint. Thoughts and feelings expressed. Wishes and commitments allowed to have a voice. In hope that someone will benefit from the insights posted here. Some, left to me others I've received and now I leave behind, even as I am," Living The Legacy."

A warning to teachers
Honor the Lord with your heart. Worship him with out consite, pride or emptiness.
Teach the doctrins of God, his requirements, his instructions. Forget the empty rituals men have devised. Reject the traditions of men. You have made excuses for your behavior, your lack of honorable behavior toward my people, by hiding behind church work. You dilute the instructions of God to strengthen your traditions and positions. Just as the Scribes and Pharisees of that day so are you. For with your lips you honor me but, your heart is for from me.

Forget the empty rituals men have devised. Reject the traditions of men. You have made excuses for your behavior, your lack of honorable behavior toward my people even in your own homes, by hiding behind "church work". Just as the Scribes and pharisees of that day so you are. Let him who has ears to hear, hear.

Seek ye First The Kingdom...History
The gospels of Matthew chapter 4:17 say that from the time Jesus began to preach he said "repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand". Verse 23 states "Now Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people."
To be clear the scriptures tell us that those who come to him must believe that he is and he is a reward- er of them who diligently seek him. So being me I started with historical Jesus. Now a rabbi friend of mine once told me that their are historical writings about this Young man who caused a great stir among the people during the years just before the common era. It supposedly states how it was plotted to have him arrested and killed for treason against Ceaser. This type of uprising was common among the people and their was even suppose to be another of the same name who made claim to being the sent one, The Christ.
I found that my looking up the ruler's names mentioned that I could get a better understanding of the times, cultures and people that lived when Jesus did. The book of John does an excellent job of presenting intellectual material in which to base ones conviction concerning the man Jesus. In fact he states he wrote "that ye may believe that Jesus is the son of God and that believing you may have life." KJV In each of the gospels I fine the presentation of Jesus to be given in such a way as to provide evidence of his position as the Christ. I would find it hard to understand that the persons written to would believe what they read if there had not been a base for plausibility in the presented words and deeds of the man. They had to believe that what had been presented as their history was indeed true. That what could be called miracles had been seen before and could be seen again.
To believe in my opinion requires both knowledge and volition. ( the power to choose or determine)
Just in Matthew, and we will be mostly in Matthew, we can find at least seven references to Jesus offering himself as I AM. I am the bread of life, I am the light of the world, I am the door, I am the good shepherd, I am the resurrection and the life, I am the true vine, I am the way the truth and the life. This was to establish in the minds of those he spoke to that he had the power and the right to do and say what he did and said.
Now, Jesus said a lot about the kingdom. What the kingdom is like, what those who entered the kingdom were like, what they'd have once they entered the kingdom, and where the kingdom is.
But he disclosed this information using parables. The word parable does not indicate an intention to make the information hard to understand or a mystery. Instead it was designed to give an example or comparison as the kingdom of heaven is like or as ...using examples that the people were familiar with.
So you see how my simple request for answers concerning the kingdom of heaven/God became a long blog.
The people of Jesus' time were wanting and expecting a deliver to stand up to Rome. Military leader such as David had been. They were ready to fight for their release from these gentiles. Many of them were as many are today. They had heard scriptures, they went through the motions of gathering them selves and some interpreted the scriptures in ways that could seemingly justify their behaviors. But because they did not have knowledge (an intimate relationship) of the scriptures they missed some key points that would have caused then to identify Jesus for who he was and understand the parables as the revelations they were meant to be. However, one needed to have heard in order to hear.
Jesus spoke with his disciples concerning the type death he would die. They didn't get it. They'd forgotten that this had been written of the Christ by the prophets. They did not realize that the Christ could not have been born sooner nor could come to die at a later time. Why not? Glad you asked.
The usual way was to conquer a people, take away their daughters their smartest young men and their young men who were old enough and strong enough to work at hard labor but young enough to change their way of thinking to accept the master's culture and treatment of them as right, just and good for them. They were to become slaves, compelled to work and with out a choice. Later in history slaves were servants. They could be given their own homes and a piece of land. They could even make a profit and buy them selves and their families out of bondage. Now, the Romans had a better idea. Leave the people on their land, leave alone their gods, let them have their names and their languages. Set up their religious leaders in high places, give them a little power under the rulers assigned to the land. Give these leaders a perception of wealth above the rest of the people.( along with the threat of keeping the people under control or facing criminal punishment and the loss of all wealth for all of your kind) Let the people continue their chosen occupations then tax um ta death. For those who rebel against the gracious generosity of Rome they set up one of the most cruel public displays of punishment known to man. Crucifixion.
There is a reason you say for Jesus being born, living and dieing under these conditions? Yes.
One is that Rome was the first and only kingdom to annex other countries and peoples to themselves. They added every place they conquered to "the kingdom of Rome".
Then they set up their government to dictate the laws of the land concerning commerce and finance.
they slowly injected their moral attitudes as not to get the older people overly stirred up so that they would be complacent concerning them. The younger one would as they reached the age of self direction would embrace the new morals after having been exposed from a young age. ( sound like today) But the real kicker is The way they punished those considered criminals.
The natural leaders of the people had a right to punish to a point for having sinned but to put someone to death was left up to the HRIC. (head Roman In Charge).
No other government hanged anyone on cross bars of wood. There was not a different word for tree and wood in Hebrew at that time. The person so sentenced was not hanged by the neck using a rope. remember that method was used during Ester's time. The rulers before that tossed you into fire or fed you to lions. beheading and stoning were popular in the region. As Egyptian slaves being beaten to death was the entertaining method of their rulers. Again none of which was carried out on Hebrew soil. Nails had to pierce his hands and feet.(not different word for wrist and ankle) Some one who had no respect for the Jewish scripture would even consider this form of death. It was an insult to injury. " Cursed is any man that hangs upon a tree". You might risk your physical life as a Jew but to be cursed of God". Nooooo! Had the Romans beaten him to death then it would have disqualified Jesus as being who he said he was, because he had to fulfill all of the prophesy. Not just die and come back. You do remember that their were other who had died and came back even during the time of the prophets.
OK, history and reasoning lesson over. We will next look at the gospels and get some understanding.

Seek ye first the Kingdom.....preface
As I stated in the introduction, in answer to my concern for my financial situation I received this instruction to put first things first and use what I've got. Did I say that I hadn't thought of my most valuable asset. My faith.
The speech I learned as a child was about how God brought the Hebrew children out of a place of bondage. a place where they were obligated to serve against their will. This is what debt feels like to me. Bondage. Moses had spent 40 years in his father in law's camp, learning and growing in faith. He saw his Father in law practice his faith as king, priest and prophet of his family and servants. He gained experiences as he encountered God for himself. Then after obeying God to go back to Egypt and get his people, he found himself standing in front of a large body of water. This was a naturally impassable place to be in. The story begins to end by saying " when Moses got to that red sea, he gave up on the spot. but the Lord said to Moses, what's that in your hand, use what you've got" the rest of the story is that he swept his walking stick over the water, the sea parted and they walked across on dry land. the Egyptians tried to do the same and were drowned.
Now, what does this have to do with me and my situation? The other part of the instructions. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you". It was the word FIRST that caught my attention. Had I not placed God first? Was I trying to do it by my self, thinking up stuff then asking God to bless it? Was I out of proper order? Oh, I had a method to my madness but was not in the right order. First things were not first.
It's funny that as I tried to reorganize my life I was actually becoming more frustrated. I'm just coming back to my self after a few years of being in a coma with my eyes open. See I practiced nursing for over thirty years. I was better at it then some, not all, some of my former managers would care to admit.
One day after having done all the leg work to begin. I was financially able, and ready to get a building to open my first assisted living facility for seniors. I had two more patients to see before my appointment with the realtor. I never made it. A couple of poor decisions on the part of teenage girls, and disobedience on my part ended with our colliding. Now, one has to live with the consequences of her actions, one is dead and I am still recovering from both physical and emotional injuries.
As a psychiatric nurse I've encouraged my patients suffering with depression to journal. Something I've seldom done my self. I usually study and write what I discover. I love to learn and see how I can use it. When I began to do service I found that what I studied was not just for me but that there were many who needed this information I was hording. I encouraged getting some new experiences. Decided to take my own advise and do it. Not that I could say I felt like it or wanted to do anything. At least in public I was and still am less likely to cry for no apparent reason.
Now in case you think I've gone off the subject. Let me assure you I have not. This is just history of how I got here. As you may can tell even as I write I'm not fully recovered. I still hurt, I still fight depression and to add to all of that. I'm out of money. Yes, nosey I got a small settlement form my insurance company and that's a story that would make you depressed too. I spent it on daily living needs and the many hospitals, surgery centers, labs, x-ray centers, physical therapist and doctors I have been seeing over the last few years. Now that your curiosity has been dealt with. can I get on with my blog? Thank you.
Coming in to summer I'd made plans to attend an MMI (millionaire mind intensive, it is not a religious event). I'd been to a few before. I found that I received a different thought and a new curiosity about money, my relationship with it and the management of it after attending the first one. I thought that if I could go and take someone with me who could receive it I could get back to where I was just before the accident when life was looking rather good. I was looking for what I could put my hands to do so that God would have something to bless. Well, because of my makeup, I got home excited and began to go to my scripture to make sure that I was in line with the word. And. Yes, it happened again. My pastors instructions were to have the people do a 1-90. Place God first by increasing our study time. doing self evaluation to see where God is in our lives. We are to recommit to seeking the kingdom of God first and his righteousness for 90 days. there is a call " can He count on me? Yes he can!" There is so much to it that I'll just have to refer you to check our church out on line for your self to get the audios. Heritage Christian Center Jacksonville, Florida.
I soon found my self reading my bibles starting in the gospels. I don't know how to just read. I have to ask questions. That is how I ended up here. So, questions. what is the kingdom of God, Where is it, how to I seek it, how will I recognize it, what does it take to become a citizen? How do I seek righteousness, What does it look like, how do I know if I have it, what can I do with it? And, the question that only a few would ask out loud. What is the benefit to me for doing all this seeking once I find them?
I read the gospels then was about to read Acts when I was instructed to go back to Matthew. There I would ask those questions. What was Jesus saying? Did he answer my questions already in his parables? The answer is, yes. So for anyone who may actually decide to follow this blog you are going to be blown away at what you will discover in this study to Seek Ye First The Kingdom.

Just thinking out loud
Sometimes I wonder if I'm being too critical. I hate, yes hate, when some celebrity acts like an idiot then wins an award and all of a sudden they yell out," I want to thank God the father" or some other religious sounding mess and people make them in to super christian with wisdom coming out the eyeballs.
Even "christian celebs" for example a few years one got married. Had this long drawn out boring mess of a wedding. Wasn't married a year before she wrote a book giving "how to keep your man advise" to other women. ( that was before the divorce)
Where in the scriptures are women instructed to think like a man? It's elitist and snobbish to expect a christian to use clean language, dress appropriately for age, gender and faith. Even being disrespectful is supposed to be overlooked and made fun of. Not!
I require evidence of being in the same family I'm in. You should look like my daddy in some way. your behavior should agree with the culture I live in. You know, culture,( the way we do things here.) My daddy has rules and boundaries you must not cross. As good as my daddy is he can't stop you from sending your self to hell. He gives a person a chance many times over to change his ways. He will not make you.
If you have not studied, and practiced to develop a godly mindset your conscience has nothing to confront you with when you are wrong. The holy spirit's job is not to punish. Just remind you of what ever the lord has said. You punish your self with your own conscience. With that if you don't turn away from your rebelliousness you will one day lift your eyes in hell. I'm just thinking out loud.

Seek ye first the kingdom.... Introduction
My pastors began the year with the theme "setting the right order". My personal theme is "first things first, use what you've got." Now, because I'm not in the best financial place of my life the first thing I thought of was, "what do I have?". I had my mind on what I could do to increase my income. I thought of the fact that after I sell all my extra stuff and cut as much as possible out of my expenses I still will need "mo money".
This is when I looked into the compensation plan of a company I deal with every month. Yes! I thought, I love these products, they will be last on the list of cut backs. I need these products anyway and will have to buy them from somewhere. Yes, this could work. Then, what happened?
I'm reading my bible and it jumped off the page. "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Then I visited a friend for far more time than planned. We began to talk about the kingdom. How it is that a well known preacher had tuned in to the kingdom message. Next I went to church and. You're right. My pastors were messing with me. It was as if they were peeking over my shoulders, reading what I was reading, and listening to my thoughts.
I told myself that I wouldn't blog not one word of this revelation. I would just keep it in my journal. OK, so I lied. not to you but to my self. I've learned that what I study is not just for me. I think I will have to do this in parts. The little voice in my head has assured me that no one will read it anyway. So blog on.
Thanks, for sharing, I think I will. I'm speaking to the little voice. Please excuse the private conversation.
We will need to make sure we are on the same page, so, the next blog will be vocabulary.

Law with out compassion is deadly
To be at 23:30 up by 0300. some can't drank coffee or tea before bed, I can't watch the news. I awoke crying due to such heart saddening news. A little girl soon to be four years old was court ordered by a judge to be given over to a man who is a registered sex offender.
See he was 38 years old when he impregnated her mother then 14 years old. Her grandmother instead of having him arrested then signed her daughter over for him to marry. Act of stupidity no1. The child's mother had three children for this abuser before leaving him. Before the divorce was final she was pregnant again, this time from another man. She died in an auto accident within a few months of this last child's birth. This man is guilty of domestic violence, and sexual acts committed on a child under 16 years old. (another teen, not her mother)
This child's grandmother has had her all this time, she is a healthy, happy little girl who loves her grandmother. There is a law that says that the child is presumed the child of the husband if they are still legally married when the child is born. It was known this one is not his and today that law is challenged often due to DNA testing. My problem with this story is that this little one is being given to a non-relative stranger. He is a sexual predator who targets young girls. He living conditions would have a social worker trying to remove any children who lived there. He lives with a woman who there can be no doubt needs an advocate. She is developmentally handicapped.
The reporter asked her "what does he want with the child?" the woman answered in a giddy nearly childlike manner " I got to live here so" The judge has handed over this little girl as if she is a house or car that was in dispute in the divorce case. What ever happened to the best interest of the child?
This baby has been screwed over by the law and placed in position to be raped as in sexually assaulted by this man. She's not his blood so in his sick mind she would be fair game. I am sick over this. I'm praying. If this man is not to be around children he can not be employed or volunteer to be around the elderly or the mentally ill anyone who would not be able to fend for them selves. How do you let one law overide a law that protects? lengths to keep my baby out of harms way. Even if I had to go to
prison. My God deal with this judge who does not appear to have compassion. If he had he would have allowed the laws that protect children over ride the so called persumed father law. we no longer have to make such a presumsion.

No appology
Its hard to be motivated with out confidence. feedback from others play a large part in how we feel about our selves. However, confidence in who we are motivates us to be the best we can be
confidence, the knowing that we can do it. we can be. We can succeed, empowers us to get started and keep at it even when obstacles appear. This knowing seeks and finds solutions to the problems and overcomes the obstacles.
When our self esteem is bonded with who God says we are and what he says we can do, have or go, there need be no concern over stated pride or arrogance. No need to be stumped by the opinions of those who don't know him and may be suffering with self esteem issues of their own.
One need not apologize for not wanting to stay where he came from. I was once on welfare. I haven't forgotten. I just would rather earn my own money. live in my house and go to the grocery store when I want to. Buy my children what I want them to have and see the doctor I want to see. I'd rather have the freedom that welfare can't afford me. Nothing wrong with being on welfare. It was a helping hand at a time of need. So, I have no put down for those who need it now. At the same time I see no reason to accept anyone opinion as to what I may think of myself because I've moved on.
The good thing about my God and my country is that if one is physically and mentally able, he may grow up in public housing, be on welfare and buy grocery with food stamps, still get a quality education and become a white color, blue color or no collar professional. He can have a job, own a job, or own a business. Its up to him.
So, how is your self-esteem? Is it based on feelings evoked by the opinions of others or is it based on the knowing and doing according to God's instructions. Hey, it is your choice.

Just thinking out loud concerning Luke 16
Sometimes during my bible study time I have questions. My thing for words, their meaning and proper usage sometimes get me in trouble. Like most people I many times think I know the correct definition of a word and all it's shades of meaning. I don't. So, I and Mr. Webster have to confer with each other.
Now, where the trouble comes in is that when we get together my mind goes ballistic. I want to know the meaning of the words used to define the original word I looked up. There is a method to my madness. See, I was taught never to define a word using the word. Dictionaries today do just that.
Today was no different. Luke 16 Jesus tells of a steward accused of mishandling his employer's wealth.
He's called in for an audit and told that he is about to lose his job.. Now in verse 4, he resolves to speak with his employer's debtors. He makes a deal with them to change their invoices to look like they owe less then they do.
Now when his employer checks the accounts he praises him. The employer calls him shrewd (NKJV). that sounds like he may have been impressed with the way his employee handled business. Jesus comments that the sons of the world are more shrewd in their generation that the sons of light. then in Vs.9 he says "and I say to you. Make friends for your selves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations." Vs 10 How you do anything is how you do everything (Me) Vs11 he says that if you can't be trusted with what the world values how can you be trusted with what is of great true value. (Me) and if you are unfaithful in the business of your employer, who will back you in a business of your own. also (Me)
Verse 13 is a popular verse of many preachers. Its a saying that the churched and unchurched alike know well. "No servant can serve two masters; for he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."( NKJ)
This seems cut and dried. So, what had me in deep study and what was the out come of it? Glad you asked.
First for a little vocabulary:
Shrewd: Keen, astute
Keen: sharp, excellent ,mentally alert, acute eyesight.
Astute: discerning, revealing insight and understanding, prudent
Prudent: Shrewd in the management of practical affairs, discreet, provident, frugal, judicial, foresighted, sensible, sane
Discrete: non-contineous
Discreet :showing good judgement, capable
Mammon: Wealth (out side of the influence of the bible wealth is not influential, good or bad, of it self and in other languages and translations the word unrighteous is not found before it.)
Man: human being, adult male, possessing in high degree the qualities considered distinctive of manhood, adult mail servant, (often cap) White society or people (freebie has nothing to do with this thought)
Here is what I,( remember I'm thinking out loud), got out of this parable.
The sons of the world know better how to maneuver and prosper in their world. They recognize and are keenly aware of how their systems work. they use that knowledge. They have vision, insight and good judgement in applying this knowledge to manage their affairs. Not so with the children of light.
The employee knowing that the men his employer dealt with would be indebted to him for the favor,
used their propensity (bent, leaning toward) for greed to influence them to do evil. I'm sure he was counting on the knowledge of what they had done to give him leverage should he need a job and they want to refuse him.
About the sons of the world being more shrewd than the children of light?
Well, We have a kingdom system to work and prosper in. Yet we don't appear to know how to use it. We seem IMO to lack understanding or maybe just not use what we have.
Vs 9 really seems strange." Make friends for yourselves ( with, no,no,no) BY unrighteous mammon." The translations that leave out the unrighteous part actually make sense to me. Because I don't see money or wealth as being a personality or as having influence. So, if I understand correctly " make friends by wealth" than to me that says wealth can be used to make friends and influence people. ( I may read too much) I think that is what the employee did. He used the debtors love of wealth to influence them to do wrong. Now Jesus did not say to influence anyone to do wrong he simply pointed what had been pointed out before. " though a poor man be wise ,no one listens because he is poor" The everlasting habitations of the unrighteous is in hell. Jesus was not, w. a. s. n. o. t. saying this was the thing to do
He is saying be astute, be keen be aware have understanding in the things of the kingdom. Be faithful in applying ones self in kingdom business. To he who can give a good accounting he will trust with even more.
finally, Vs13 "No servant can serve two masters for either he will hate the one and love the other or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.
I (its personal y'all) am to and I will serve God and God alone. Wealth is my servant. As my servant wealth is only allowed to answer; Yes, Ms Staci. :-) just thinking out loud.

Manas'seh Christian Ministries
As I looked up key words for my ministries' URL (coming soon) . I found this site. It does a good job of explaining Joseph's statement as read in the KJV of the bible. It also answers a question I've been asked many times concerning the meaning of manas'seh. I have always been concerned about words, their meaning sometimes vs their usage. Forget, is one of them. Have you not ever been told to "forgive and forget" or "You shouldn't even remember that anymore, it was too long ago". a Hebrew translation of the scripture genesis 41:51 is "for god has removed the sting of my memories".
Joseph did not forget his father, brothers nor what they did to him. He received healing for his soul. He became able to forgive them and most importantly he became able to remember the events without having to relive the hurt and humiliation of the events. Too many of gods people live with out ever getting close to reaching their full potential.
Manasseh Christian ministries is itinerary. We travel around the world delivering the good news of reconciliation. The news that as kingdom citizens we have a right to live well, to live free of our prior hurtful conditioning's and experiences. We educate, encourage and empower the kings childrens to receive the fruits of his uncondtional love and realize they have unlimited potential for good success.

![]() | ![]() | ![]() | 1. How can God forget our sins and be omniscient? The question. If God is omniscient (knows all things without exception), how can He forget our sins? The Bible states that God is omniscient … and states that He does not remember our sins (those of believers). Both of these statements are true. Do they contradict each other? God is omniscient. The Bible states it definitively, "For God is greater than our heart and knows all things," 1 John 3:20. God is infinite in knowledge. He is omniscient … i.e., all-knowing. His knowledge is without limits. God knows all things that have happened … are happening … could happen … and will happen. His knowledge extends beyond the realm of the creation … beyond space … and beyond time (extending infinitely from eternity past into eternity future). His knowledge is unlimited. In computer terms, no data could be added to His memory because everything, without limits, is already recorded there. In addition, nothing stored in His memory is irretrievable. No data is ever lost or deleted from His memory. Therefore, everything about us is fully known by God. "And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do," Hebrews 4:13. Does God forget sin? The person who has believed in Jesus has received forgiveness of sins. "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins," Acts 10:43. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us," Ephesians 1:7-8. God is holy and just. He neither ignores nor overlooks sin. "For the wages of sin is death," Romans 6:23. Our sin must be paid for … either by the death of Jesus (His payment applied to us upon our obeying the Gospel by believing in Him as our personal Savior) or by our spiritual death in eternal separation from God. "The Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power," 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9. If you have any doubt about your own spiritual standing with God, visit www.911GOD.org to learn how to get right with Him … how to receive eternal forgiveness of sins. After you have believed in Jesus, all your sins are forgiven. David wrote, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us," Psalm 103:12. The north and south poles are a finite distance apart. However, the east and west are figuratively an infinite distance apart. David, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote that our sins are infinitely removed from us when God has forgiven us. However, is the knowledge of those sins removed from God? Does God forget anyone’s sins … remember them no more? Such questions require precise answers. The knowledge of our sins is neither lost nor deleted from God’s memory. Moreover, it is retrievable. However, God does not remember our sin after we have believed. The Bible states this as a fact. "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins," Isaiah 43:25. "For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more," Hebrews 8:12. "And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more," Hebrews 10:17. Misunderstanding about the definitions of the words forget and remember can lead to confusion. The definitions. Permanent deletion from memory is not the common meaning of forget. Most often, forget means to treat with inattention, overlook, or to disregard … intentionally or unintentionally. Joseph was mistreated by his family (beaten and sold into slavery). God graciously allowed him to disregard, to treat with inattention, his family and the trouble they caused. Joseph said, "God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household," Genesis 41:51. The knowledge of his family was not deleted from Joseph’s memory. God caused him not to mentally dwell on those hurtful memories. In computer terms, that data was archived but not in RAM. When Joseph’s family came to Egypt, he recognized them. "But Joseph had recognized his brothers, although they did not recognize him. Joseph remembered the dreams which he had about them," Genesis 42:8-9. Consider the definition of the word remember. It means to bring to mind, to think of, to give attention to, or to consider. When you remember something, you are retrieving that information from your stored knowledge (memory). To not remember is to not retrieve the stored data from your memory. Not remembering does not mean that the data has been lost or deleted. Nor does it mean that it is irretrievable … it is retrievable but not retrieved. That is the common use of remember … and is so used in many Biblical references including: Genesis 30:22, Exodus 2:24, Leviticus 26:42, Psalm 78:39, Psalm 89:50, Psalm 105:8, Psalm 105:42-43, Ezekiel 16:60, Matthew 5:23, Luke 16:25, and Luke 23:42. The non-contradictory answer. God knows everything (including all our sins) … while not remembering our sins. That is not a contradiction. When we believed in Jesus, our sins were forgiven … and God remembers them no more. He no longer gives attention to our sins … no longer considers them … no longer brings them to mind. After we became His children, He disregarded our sins because they had already been paid for by Jesus on the cross. They were, and are, no longer of any consequence. The knowledge of our forgiven sins has not been deleted from His memory. There is just no reason for Him to retrieve that information. It is wonderful that our sins have been removed from us as far as the east is from the west … and wonderful that God intentionally considers them no more. He knows absolutely everything about us. He has archived the data about our sins … but does not retrieve it. God is omniscient. The data about our sins is in His memory … but when He considers us, it is as if it had been deleted. "How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!" Psalm 32:1. "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account," Romans 4:7-8. | ![]() | ![]() |

Influence
I was once told I am too influential. At the time and due to the circumstance under which this comment was made I was puzzled. I had not given thought to my having any influence with anyone other than my children. Yet, I wondered how I or anyone could be too influential. Too, is that as in far more than needed or wanted? For that commenter, I think that's what he met.
It's been noted that moral values don't just come in by the door of reason only, but also by way of arts and entertainment.
I have wondered about the behaviors of persons who ascribe to certain beliefs. Verbally speaking a good game. Yet, consistently living and producing a picture in complete opposite to that speech. Note the word consistently. Now, I know that we can at times act inconsistent with what we know to be right. Yes, it is possible to know you are wrong, know how to do right and do wrong any way. ask Paul in Romans. But what happened, how do we get there? Reason says no, reason says this has never come to a good end. So, why do we go there?
Influences! Example, I once watch a young man playing a game. tomb raiders, I think it was. The woman wasn't preforming as he expected. forgive me I don't know the game. But, she was swimming and needed to come up for air. He let her drown. She struggled, trying to swim up. but he had the controls. I was out done. You're killing her! I yelled. He very calmly stated. she's not getting the clues so she may as well die. besides its just a game. I said nothing to anyone til now. However, I thought I need to keep an eye on this one. He has no empathy.
I hate killing, I hate to watch killing on TV, I hate to kill the bugs and snakes that invade my vegetable garden. That's why I go out and talk to them every morning. ( you did not need to know that, but I wrote it and I'll leave it) For those who get caught in my garden I sadly kill and only if I can't get them out with out self harm. Anybody see where I'm going here? murder, stealing, sexual perversion, whoredom no longer carry the same stigma and out cry they once had. There is a noticeable lessening of compassion for those with less than ourselves. A suspecting of anyone who doesn't look like us, talk like us, dress like us or is not US. Ever read blogs or comments of persons declaring their fear and negative expectations as ultimate truth of everything and everyone?
Where did these ideas come from? How were they formed? By influences. Influences of media, celebrities, politicians, preachers of doom and gloom, negative people with power.
In my state, Florida USA, if you end up having to be on state assistance for any reason. You suddenly are a criminal, a drug abuser, lazy, don't want to work, scum of the earth ( my interpretation).
So, to protect the good citizens of our state, who still have jobs and can still afford to buy food for their families and pay for their health care, at a( lower rate than cobra) You must submit and pay for a yearly drug test. just like the persons who have been charged and or convicted of a crime.
How did this indignity happen? Persons in places of power and influence said that is why your the state has so much debt. Cause you got to pay for these deadbeats.
I see, and possibly not as much after this goes on face book. I see often christian women and teens dressed in sexually provocative clothing, lips and or butts pointed toward the cameras in their photo files. I get invites to baby showers but not to weddings. I read the angry ravings of mad moms about their no good baby daddies. Baby daddies who rant about the whores and sluts they placed their seed in. The language used many time is profane or evident of a lack of education. Why is this so common? The influence of people with power, media and entertainment.
Yes, I have at times been influenced by the same hype, even though I think of my self as a person of reason. I've fought with myself about doing wrong when I knew to do right, did wrong anyway.
I one day had enough. I have embraced the position of influence. I desire to influence right standing with God, setting first things first, all in right order. I desire to speak louder, be more visible and influence more people to conform to the kingdom standards, Yes, to subscribe to a higher calling with a higher purpose. To Live The legacy.

keeping the promise
I promised to share good things.
As a R. N. for over 30 years and a minister for over 25 I have a vested interest in sharing knowledge.
Not just any knowledge but that which pertains to abundant life.
Knowledge which frees ones mind and body, That Allows one to re lie on God's holy spirit with in him.
It is wise to take care of ones body. Paul when talked about exercise profiting little he was talking to a culture which was enamored over the physical form. They were intellectual exercises. He told them that these exercises profited little in comparison to the exercise or practice of allowing the holy spirit exercise love through a person. To change his mind set from worldly to godliness.
Those who know me well know that I got up to nearly 300 lbs. I had metabolic syndrome.was sick.
I took care of others but not my self. I've changed. I now take care of the part of me which is needed to stay on the planet. I eat healthy, I go to bed at a better time and sleep longer. I take supplements and aspirin. I detox my body and my home. I use natural product and I keep up with consumer reports in order to keep unwanted pollutants out of my house and even my yard. The information featured by VLM is spot on. I suggest that you subscribe and even become a partner of this vital ministry. Coming soon the The May instaullment of pathway 2 prupose.

Words of wisdom from Minister Faye of Victorious Ministry
Healthy Boundaries
I've learned not to reinvent the wheel. There are many times when I may have something on my mind; then I will read or hear something that speaks to what I am thinking. This word from my friend is just that. I say often that " because you are my friend is all the reason needed to not abuse me." the message below speaks to setting boundaries. I will post each one over the coming weeks.
However, let me add that I've had friends whom I love but they saw nothing wrong with saying and doing things that were hurtful. They each felt it was alright not to monitor themselves because we were friends. It was funny. When I would repeat my usual saying many time I got a " see we friends so I can tell ya". or You knew I was coming, I'm always late, so why you didn't wait". One by one I became unavailable. My way of getting rid of negatives. If we want to keep our relationships close lets not discard kindness, courteousness and respect under the guise of relative or friendship. The boundary setting goes both ways. Don't be a door mat and police yourself on your behavior toward others.
There are 6 areas where boundaries may be necessary, that I will discuss with you in the coming weeks. Today, I will start with "emotional" boundaries.
To respect and honor yourself you will need to set personal boundaries. Your boundaries help define who you are and how you relate to other people, as well as what you will and will not tolerate in your life. It will probably feel extremely uncomfortable at first, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. One of the biggest challenges that many people face in learning how to set boundaries is knowing when to say yes and when to say no. We must come to realize that no is a perfectly acceptable answer, even though it doesn't feel as good as saying yes.
Each of us must be sensitive to the warning signs that its time to set a boundary. Don't allow anyone to take advantage of you, treat you with disregard, disrespect or demean you. If that is happening, that is a clear sign that a boundary needs to be set.
You are the person who must decide how to set the boundary. You may choose to address the issue and take it head on. Or you may decide that you need to remove yourself from the toxic environment that is being created. Whatever you decide, you are the one who must define your boundaries and find the solution that allows you to maintain your self-respect.

No body and I don't know
Recently I visited my Son and his family. My daughter received a degree in professional nursing. It was a good visit. My gran daughter told the story "good night moon" from memory. Not bad for a two year old.
This was when I began to think about how stories change over the years. Some are hard to understand with today's experiences. One young mother reminded me of this when she saw the track.
At the end it says "good night nobody". She says this felt wrong for her. I had to smile, because "I don't know and Nobody" lived at my house.
Anytime there was a question of "who dun it" I don't know was to blame, "where is it" I don't know was the one. How did it happen and what happened and why it happened was all blamed on I don't know.
Now, No body bosses everyone around. The answer to who told you, you could go, do or have it was always, No body. it's time for bed, the lights are out and everyone is to close his eyes and be quiet. When a sound is heard from the supposed to be quiet room, the question is asked, who is making all that noise, yeah, No body made it. So good night room, good night phone, good night .............good night nobody, good night noises everywhere.

In honor of my grand mom who I miss to this day.
Grand mamma Said
By S. Staci Anderson
Hello my name is Sandra, I’m eleven years old. I live in a southern town with my grand mom and uncle. I guess we’re a normal family. I go to school and my uncle teaches at a high school. Grand mom is sick right now. But, she says she’ll soon go to live with her father. She says that when she leaves I should be happy because she will never be sick again. Grand moms promised that before she leaves she’s going to teach me how to take care of my self. How to sew, cook, clean, and most of all how to find out something I don’t know. So I’m going to let you in on our secrets.
Grand momma said that when she was a little girl, colored folk were discouraged from learning how to read and write. In some places it was even against the law. She said the white man knew that if we colored people could read we would know when they told us something that wasn’t true.
Grand momma said that when a person reads he can do things and go places in his imagination that he can do for real when he grows up. As for me, I like stories about far away places. France, Italy, Egypt, Africa.
When I was in third grade we got these books called en -cycle- pedias. They had all kinds of information in them. Real true stuff too. I would read about places like Paris France then go there with my friends. I was a tom boy then, so all my friends were boys. We would line up the chairs from the kitchen and dinning rooms, my chair would be upfront, because I was the pilot. I would tell them how high we were flying and where we were going. Once we got there I would drive the tour bus too. We would clime the Eiffel tower; visit the Louvre Museum where we could see famous painting, and sculptures, you know statues, and look across the Seine river. We would eat out side at a small café. It wasn’t really a café at all it was really butter sandwiches with sugar on them and Kool-Aid. All served on my little china tea set.
I would have my dolls model the latest fashions.
Things I made during my sewing lessons with my grand mom. The boys would clap and shout, how beautiful! Of course I could beat up most of them so they had no choice but to do as I said. They had to act happy. For some the return of their marbles depended on it.
Grand momma said that negro people, Now when grand momma talked sometimes we were colored people and sometimes we were Negros. Any who, Colored people were kings and queens back in Africa. We had our own governments, educational systems, doctors and lawyers. Grand momma said we were first tricked into letting our young people go with the white men. We were told that they had found land on the other side of the rivers where no one lived. That the land and the weather was much like ours. They said that they would give us land for our services if we would help them farm it. That we could then build our own houses and communities. Just like they were going to do. When we found out that wasn’t true and that we were not being done right we refused to let our young people go with them. That’s when they began to steal us from our land. Even in our land we had greedy, dishonest, mean and hate filled people who would sell us to the slave traders so that they could keep our lands and girls for themselves. They’re everywhere, you know. Some African people just thought they could make some profit by selling those they had captured in war. Why kill them if you can send them away never to return. It seemed like a good idea.
Grand momma told me stories like this but I never read them in any books. She heard them from her grand-momma and my grand dad whose grand-momma was a slave. One day she showed me in the encyclopedias about a subject called genetics. It was about race species and gender.
Grand momma said that the white man wanted us to always be ignorant. They wanted us to feel like and believe that we were not human. That if we couldn’t read and write it would make us like all the other animals. Then they could tell us what to do and what was right and what was wrong.
I was fascinated by this information. I looked up each word I didn’t understand and I took great joy in knowing something people thought I wasn’t suppose know. So, I wanted to know more.
Grand momma said read learn the definition of words and listen the stories the old folk tell and I would learn to pick out what she called truths.
Grand momma said I’m a pretty little girl and will one day grow into a beautiful woman if I only remember this. “you can never be more beautiful than you are on the inside. Grand momma said that I am to always remember whose child I am, that my fathers rich. I know she doesn’t mean her son, my pops. She said that when people meet me they will judge my whole family on my behavior.
Grand momma said that I am to be an example to my younger sisters and brothers. That I should always have high standards. Grand momma would read to me and of course my uncle was in college back then so he had lots of books when he came home.
Sometimes he would read to me from one of his books. I never understood what he was reading about. I just liked that he read to me. Now I know he was just studying his lesson and tiring to get a read in to me at the same time. I think now, how funny. Cause , I’m older now and I know some things.
Grand momma said keep your room clean, make your bed as soon as you feet hit the floor. Never go to bed with a dirty kitchen. Brush your teeth so they won’t rot and fall out. Always wear clean underwear and be polite even when angry.
Grand momma said emotions don’t think. That it’s best to remove my self from a situation and give it some thought rather than to blurt out what I’m feeling at the time. Cause feelings can fool ya.
But, what if I can’t just walk away? That was always my question. She said that it would take me some time and practice but that I could learn to control my emotions in a matter of seconds and let the good in me take control. That’s a hard lesson to learn.
Grand momma said nothing beats a failure like a try. If you don’t try you automatically fail. If you keep trying you never really fail you become good and successful at finding out what doesn’t work.
Grand momma said faith is not blind. It comes with evidence to back it up. Any thing else is just superstition or a fib in a persons own mind.
Grand momma said that when some one hurts me by saying something mean or untrue they are wrong. I don’t have to like it or pretend they mean me any good. But, I do have to forgive them and keep moving. Because forgiveness is not for the wrong doer. Forgiveness is for the done wrong.
I think my grand momma is smart. She has taught me a lot of things. She’s told me a lot of sayings. Some, she says I will have to keep living to understand. Grand momma can no longer read to me. So I read to her, her favorite is her scripture. I read her red book magazine and her ladies home journal to her every day. She enjoys it when I read. She even lets me read to her stories from my story books she gave me when I turned eight years old. Poems, nursery rhymes and short stories all for me to grow up with. I even read to her a play that my uncle’s drama class is putting on this spring. “The night of the iguana.” I played every part for her. Changing my voice for each character. She just smiled at me.
Did you notice the secret of what my grand momma said?
This is what I learned. Be a continuous learner. Read, imagine believe and take action. Believe that the good In me is bigger than me. Fine out what it is I need to know in order to go, do, be and have what I really want.
Grand mamma said charity ,love, begins at home then spreads abroad. Every generation should live better than the one before it.
Read to get knowledge listen to get understanding, believe to get motivation and behave according to what I believe that I may be wise and live according to the law of love.
This is just some of what grand momma said.
